FALL for These Paw-some Pumpkin Patches in Vacaville

OH MY! It’s open season for pumpkin pie, apple cider, and jack-o’-lanterns! In other words, FALL is here…again! Plus, is it really autumn if we don’t visit at least one pumpkin patch? Pumpkin patches are a great place for the whole family to enjoy. Since pumpkin patches are outdoors, you may also bring your dogs along to pick out the best pumpkins in the patch. Here are some pumpkin patches to check out in and around Vacaville.

Many of our local pumpkin patches are open for the 2021 season!

Sweet Peas

Sweet Pea’s is located at 891 Alamo Drive in Vacaville, California. They are open seven days a week with slightly reduced hours on weekends. Sweet Pea’s is a family-owned business that loves its furry customers. They sell pet food and have a garden, for you and your furry friends to enjoy. In addition to these delicious goodies, they have a pet-friendly pumpkin patch to visit and enjoy with your dog! As if that wasn’t enough, Sweet Pea’s wants to help you keep your dog vaccinated and healthy. They partner up with VIP Petcare every other Saturday, which provides medical services and testing without an appointment. Be sure to contact them for more information.

Silveyville Pumpkin

Silveyville Farms will open their pumpkin patch on October 1st this year! They are open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm and have free admission, rain or shine. They are located on 6248 Silveyville Road in Dixon, California and have paved parking on site. Silveyville Farms aims to offer a memorable and educational experience for all that come to visit. There are many activities aside from the pumpkin patch for your family to enjoy, but be sure to contact them to see if all activities are pet-friendly. Their pumpkin patch is one place you can take a memorable family picture with your human and furry family members to remember for a lifetime.

Cool Patch Pumpkins

Cool Patch Pumpkins is a patch located on 6150 Dixon Ave West in Dixon, California and is known for being cool for more than just their pumpkins. This is not just any regular pumpkin patch; this farm is home to the world record corn maze! The pumpkin patch is only opening on September 25th and will run through to the end of October until the 31st. Once it opens, the farm will be open every day from 9 am to 8 pm, weather permitting. Admission fees range depending on the activity, so call in advance to see if space is available. Bring your pup to enjoy the corn maze, and let them use that canine nose to help you find the end!

After a pumpkin patch, the next best part is all the pumpkin-flavoured things you can make for you and your dog to enjoy!
